The biggest difference in charging speed at home comes down to the charger level. A standard wall outlet (Level 1) adds only a few miles of range per hour — fine as a backup, but frustrating as a daily solution. A Level 2 charger runs on a 240-volt circuit and can fully charge most EVs overnight, which is why it’s the standard for serious home charging.

That 240-volt circuit is exactly why professional installation matters. A Level 2 charger needs a dedicated circuit, correctly sized wire, the right breaker, and a panel with enough available capacity. 4. Installation. We install the dedicated circuit and charger to code, hardwired or on a NEMA 14-50 outlet, and pull a permit where required.
5. Testing and walkthrough. We test the charger under load, confirm safe operation, and walk you through using it.
